Paris Day 1: Montmartre

As you may know, Amra and I spent last weekend in Paris. Oh là là c'était magnifique! Three months isn't enough in Paris much less three days, yet we somehow managed to see everything on our list.

After checking in at our hostel on Friday, we lunched at a nearby restaurant called "Le Village des Fêtes"where the food was delicious and the service impeccable. We spent all of the first day touring the most artisique quarter of Paris, Montmartre. There we visited Sacre Coeur, wondered the small shop-ladden streets, had our profiles drawn by local artists, ate ice cream, and enjoyed a street performance in front of Sacre Coeur overlooking the city. Much to our wallets' dismay, Amra and I, in a fit of spontenuity, decided to attend a "spectacle" at the Moulin Rouge. The show was absolutely stunning, unfortunately we weren't allowed to take pictures so you'll just have to take our word for it. After a marvelous first day in Paris we returned to our hostel tired but content.

U Parizu smo provele tri dana. Uspjele smo vidjeti sve sto smo planirale.
