Movies, Mexican Food, Masquerades, and More

The activities of the last few days have kept us quite busy (this is our excuse for not having posted lately). Wednesday, we went to see Rango with Antoine, after helping him study English. The movie is amazing, even in French! Thursday the school hosted a Mexican themed party. Our Mexican friends and classmates prepared some yummy dishes (they made the most delicious guacamole that we've ever tasted!) Watching the French react to the spicy and hot food was a treat within itself. Friday, we celebrated Kristi's and Mélanie's birthdays with a masquerade, black tie event at the student residence. Everyone dressed up quite nicely. All in all, it was an exciting and enjoyable week here in Vichy.

Stunning! That masquerade looks fabulous.

Also, do the french not usually eat spicy food? How did they react to it?
