Où est la poste?

Yesterday we explored. Today we ran errands. Jet lag...it's a plan ruiner. We optimistically set our alarm clock for six am; we got up at nine. After a hearty breakfast of przenice (savory French Toast) we set out on  a quest to complete our to do list, or at least shorten it. Ustalesmo kasnije nego sto smo planirale. Doruckovale smo przenice, pa smo odsetale do nase nove skole.
Przenice
First on our lengthy list was a visit to the school, which we regrettably forgot to photograph. On our way there we spotted the famous Source des Célestins (Spring of Célestins). Usput smo se uslikale pored poznatog izvora vode.

We also noticed that many of the streets here are named after different countries (Italie, Angleterre, Russie, Belgique, Serbie...etc.) Primjetile smo da ulice u nasem komsiluku nose imena drzava. Cak i Serbi imaju svoju ulicu.
Next in line was a short stop to the office of tourism in search of a map of Vichy. Regrettably we arrived just in time to be shooed out as they were closing for lunch. A tip for traveling in Europe: most shops and places of business close for a couple of hours at lunch time...they don't like you to linger. On our way out we stumbled upon this little "Dog's Bar." One thing we can say about people here is that they love their dogs. Pronasle smo kafic za Eninog cuku.
This one's for you, Wallace!
As we made our way to the laundromat we purchased a few post cards at a little kiosk at the Parc des Sources. While at the laundromat we took the opportunity to write notes back home to some dear family and friends. Amra and I left our clothes to tumble dry as we ventured out to find the post office. After multiple turns of the map and some animated finger pointing, we finally found it and were able to cross off the last item on our to do list.
Multi-tasking
After finishing our errands we met up with another Drake student studying here in Vichy. We explored the town, did a little shopping,  and shared some sweet treats. Because we were short on time we made plans to meet again tomorrow. Now off to bed to reset or circadian rhythm.
